The Egoli Greenmap is an advocacy and education map about eco-systems and open space of Johannesburg. It is situated in the cities north eastern areas.
The area that is on the Egoli Greenmap contains about 5% of Johannesburg's open space.
There are many people do not know much about these spaces. The map shows the important connections between them and the interesting features that make them special.
The map includes wetlands, grasslands, ridges and rivers. Its also has some noteworthy historical sites.
Our team consists of dedicated volunteers, with a wide range of talents including community work, design, architecture and environmental studies.
