Presentation by Marco Kusumawijaya, Bayu Wardhana, Elisa Sutanudjaja (three of them are from Jakarta), Elanto Wijoyono (Yogyakarta), and Robert W. Zuber (New York) in the "Environment Education through After School Program Workshop" in Tarumanegara University, Jakarta (June 6, 2009). About 50 teachers/educators from 30 high schools in Jakarta involved in this two days workshop. The objective of this workshop is looking for a methods to enhance facts and competence on developing project, lesson plan or other educative program especially which comprise issues and topics of city ecology, environmental health, disaster history, green map, and climate change. The Green Map team presented the concept, methods, and the function of Green Map on schools, home, and other area in the city. We proposed Green Map as a tools or solution to solve the environmental problem. We introduced the OpenGreenMap and GreenTeen project to the participants. There was a little Green Map exhibition during the workshop. This event was organized by LPII Foundation, Tarumanegara University - Jakarta, and Peta Hijau - Green Map Indonesia.
