Oxford, England's Green Map was initated in Autumn 2002 by Craig Simmons and the Oxford Green Map Team, based at Oxford's Future Centre. They achieved their goal of having East Oxford's Green Map completed at the end of 2003, with a city-wide Green Map designed for both residents and visitors to follow. In January 2004 a new website was posted, with sample views of the map now online!
