Green Map Roma project is created with a collaboration of friends occupying with social or volunteer works, in october 2009. Rome is the most touristic city in Italy, one of the most touristic cities in the whole world. The traditional maps are prepared to show only the historical center. But she has more to offer for an open eye.
The open green map will be designed to include not only ecological solutions for the conscientious traveller but also information about political problems of the city like housing and immigrants. The project includes also printed material for educational purposes, a website and using media to spread the word. We hope to grow a bigger group with the evolution of the project, to get or audience become our participants.
