This map showcases the University of Kentucky’s sustainable efforts within Fayette and Surrounding Counties. UK’s GIS Services (under Facilities Management’s Physical Plant Division) worked with the UK Sustainability Committee to correctly map and provide information of the listed sustainable efforts. This map was featured during the two week “Big Blue Goes Green” sustainability event held on September 14-25th, 2009 and was showcased in conjunction with two other Green Maps: Culture & Society - Nature and Sustainable Living on the UK Lexington Campus. This map was created using ArcGIS Desktop 9.3.
