My third day was quite busy, good thing we had bikes to get around to everything. Riding in this city is very easy!

The images all have complete captions (click Notes to see them) but basically, after a breakfast meeting, we went through the center to meet with Copenhagen Green Mapmakers at the Agenda 21 inner city office and the design museum, then off to Christiania to experience the Climate Bottom, had dinner with our homestay hosts, then to a partyboat and theater for events, then back by the ice (polar bear) to see if it was still melting. I am still processing all that I met with that day!

This exhibit is part of the Climate Bottom event, but located in the city center. It offered contemplative beauty and respite from the crowds.

More bikes! With a cycling culture that includes everyone, Copenhagen has a wealth of bikes used (and parked on the street) everyday. It offers a practical lesson in reducing greenhouse gases that every city should learn from.
