Mobile Debut
In our 15th year, Green Map System has a new way to answer the question: "What's Green Nearby?" We are so pleased to introduce an exciting mobile version of our acclaimed Open Green Map that invites you to interact with the world from a unique perspective that is ideal for any internet-enabled phone! Today, we are also debuting the first Green Map iPhone App. In keeping with Green Map System's mission of inclusive participation, this dual launch has the potential to serve a diverse audience at no cost.
Explore our Mobile Website
Simply type GreenMap.org into any phone's internet browser to explore the beta version of our mobile website. What’s Green Nearby?™ provides an array of green living resources, arranged with those nearest you first. Click any site for details, then, click the address to plot the site on your phone's built-in map.
You can also type in a city you plan to visit. Navigate with your phone's buttons and connect with nature, culture and sustainability sites directly. Some locales have several pages of results, which you can access at the bottom of the page.
Download the Green Map iPhone App
The Green Map App includes What's Green Nearby? and 10 additional features, sharing a view of our global movement unlike any you have ever seen before. Mapmakers' photos, great Green Maps, our icons, blog posts, videos and even Twitter pop up so you can quickly explore the people, places and impacts of the Green Map movement in 55 countries.
