The Bed-Stuy Community Mapping Project will culminate in October with a community event schedule to be held at Magnolia Tree Earth Center in late September or early October. DIVAS for Social Justice has agreed to help create the video mapping component for this project and the Brooklyn Food Coalition will host the map on their site. Media and TogetherGreen Video The Bed-Stuy Community Mapping Project will also be working with the Audubon Society to create a short movie that details how our community mapping project is getting students and community members involved in conservation, and why mapping community gardens in Brooklyn in this way is important. They will be taping various events throughout the projects so folks will have a chance to learn more about the Audubon as well!
