Over the next two years we propose to:

1) Map the threats, examples and opportunities that affect the Ecosystem Services of the Térraba-Sierpe mangrove while explaining their relationship to quality of life.
2) Perform an Ecosystem Service Valuation to identify opportunities, examples and threats to the sustainable development of the Térraba-Sierpe mangrove.
3) Establish a Water Quality & Fisheries Baseline for the Térraba-Sierpe mangrove to understand land-ocean dynamics and promote sustainable development.

Nuestro objetivo es el establecimiento de un marco de trabajo para impulsar la integracion de soluciones Tecnologicas, Institucionales y Conceptuales (TICOS) para promover el desarrollo sostenible del Humedal Nacional Terraba-Sierpe en Costa Rica.

Uno de nuestros objetivos especificos es el mapeo de las amenazas, ejemplos y oportunidades que afectan los servicios ecosistemicos del Humedal Nacional Terraba Sierpe y explicar la relacion de dichos objetivos con la calidad de vida de la poblacion.
