Mapmakers' Wishlist

These are the Mapmakers' Wishlists from around the world, collected from our network's Green Map Profiles. Click on the name of the person submitting the ‘wish’ to explore more details about their project and for contact information.

  • New York City is changing very quickly, and we'd love to have a robust interactive map that the public can contribute to, with updates, new sites, images and ratings - volunteers and supporters, please contact us!
  • The Mapmakers would like help building a fish farm that will provide locally-grown food, jobs and training in ecological management techniques. Also, the Tororo Green Map Project are in need of some assistance to help us implement the Tree Planting Project.
  • When we surveyed before we made the Map, we haven’t prepared enough at the first day. We didn’t prepare many questions or anything we wanted to know, so during the time we interviewed the people there, there was a blank and silence. It was so embarrassed.
  • Ensure maximum participation, involving partners that enable us to help finance the project, and that the tool becomes strategic and useful at a city level.
  • The Craik Green Map should be revised to reflect recent changes in the area, particularly in the development of the eco-village. It is also hoped and expected that this will someday become part of a mapping project of a larger surrounding region between Sakatoon and Regina.
  • An updated version of this Green Map printed for distribution for residents and visitors (pocket size map) and/or a poster version for distribution to communty centers and kiosks.
  • We'd love to have the resources to update and print this map again!
