谈到对垃圾的分类处理，对我来说已经不算新鲜了。毕竟10个月在温哥华的生活，已经习惯在丢弃所有的垃圾前，进行分类，哪些该进入recycle（回收），而哪些又是纯粹不可以利用的垃圾（trash），是要分开丢弃的。虽然在温哥华的家里，已经开始了这种“训练”，但与咱们纽约办公室相比，做的还是远远不够的。

“Annie，这个不可以扔掉得！” 来办公室这么久了，还没见过Wendy这么严肃呢。Wendy 从垃圾篓里刨出来我扔掉的头一天晚饭打包的锡纸盒，给我送了过来，“你知道吗，制作一个12oz的锡纸盒，需要的能量是3盎司的汽油。”我觉得自己的脸一下子就红了。呃……我的数学实在不好，但我如果把锡纸盒想象成一堆燃烧的汽油的话……还是不要扔掉的好。然后Wendy耐心的解释给我，对于锡纸或者其他罐头产品的容器，要尽量进行回收利用，因为，回收这些容器消耗的能量仅是生产这些产品所需要的能量的5%。read more »

大家好，我是Green Map今年夏天在纽约办公室的中国实习生Annie。来到这里一个多月了，难得今天工作不是很多，又逢一场畅快淋漓的大雨，让人心情舒畅，所有就赶来在这里冒个泡泡！

办公室篇
嗯，从哪里聊起呢？大家想必对纽约办公室比较好奇，我就谈谈我来到这里的几点感受吧。 老实说，没有来到Green Map之前，我的环保意识不是很强，那大家就在这里见证我的蜕变吧！

（一） 解暑： 空调 VS 啤酒

纽约的夏天热起来还是蛮厉害的，比北京有过之而无不及。我在到纽约之前，在温哥华上了10个月的学，和温哥华宜人的气候相比，纽约似乎在用焦灼的阳光来释放这个城市的热情。刚到纽约第一天，我就赶紧脱掉穿了大半年的仔裤，换上了久违的短裙，呵呵。但人家告诉我，这还不是纽约的夏天。纽约要真正进入夏天，要有三个H： Hot (热)，Humid (潮) 和 Hazy (雾蒙蒙)。唉，典型的北京桑拿天！不知道是庆幸还是不幸，在我到达纽约不久之后，她就进入夏天了。read more »
