Montclair NJ's "Green Map" is a collaborative project of Montclair's Green Team and Dept. of Environmental Affairs; Partners for Health, a community foundation serving the Montclair area, and community members working with participatory planning, green sanctuaries, and sustainable food systems among other issues.

Our Green Map effort will identify and map the many environmental assets of the town including local parks, accessible public transit, walkable business districts, and locally grown produce access points and engage community members in identifying accessibility gaps or deficiencies, potential resources, and other areas that might generate and support sustainable health, lifestyle, environmental, cultural and economic changes.

Through these efforts, the sustainable assets of our town will be better known, understood, valued and protected.
