Over 150 schools from around Israel participated in the 2006 Childrens' Environmental Conference, whose theme was Green Map. Each school undertook to produce their own local green map which mapped the school and surrounding area. The maps were produced in a variety of formats and where exhibited at the Conferece. The projects where also compiled in a Green Map Atlas book.
