This map showcases the University of Kentucky’s Sustainable Living efforts on its Lexington Campus. UK’s GIS Services (under Facilities Management’s Physical Plant Division) worked with the UK Sustainability Committee to correctly map and provide information of the listed sustainable efforts. This map was featured during the two week “Big Blue Goes Green” sustainability event held on September 14-25th, 2009 and was showcased in conjunction with two other Green Maps created for the event: Culture & Society - Nature on the UK Lexington Campus and UK’s sustainable efforts in Fayette and Surrounding Counties. This map was created using ArcGIS Desktop 9.3.
