Writing from the grounds of EXPO, which is very well attended, exceeding its target of 15 million visitors today, several weeks ahead of schedule. Green Map Hall at the NGO Global Village is surrounded with eco-innovations, including a permaculture garden, solar and wind power, grey water, etc. Thanks to Chubu Recycle, our hall looks so great! It`s a busy place with zillions involved with hands on activities and learning about our maps and how to get involved. There:s a second beautiful exhibit in the Aichi Pavilion, lots of great maps on display, including a huge one of the whole prefecture that you can add green sites to - so far 4,000 have!

We had our first dinner meeting with 7 Aichi Green Mapmakers plus 4 from Pune India last night- so many new and important ideas already! My presentation is in a hour, so I will go out now & get ready. It`s very warm here, but there is greenspace around and a bit of a breeze so we are OK. More from Aichi when we are all here!
