Completed during the summer semester of 1996, this Green Map was printed in October 1996 -- it was the first North American Green Map that used the Icons! This hand-drawn map includes 186 green sites. Created by University of Georgia Landscape Architecture graduate students, it was published as the centerfold in Flagpole, the local newspaper. Beginning in 2005, landscape architect Courtney Willis and SEEDS (Students and Educators of Ecological Design and Sustainability) are leading a community and university group collaboration to create a printed edition, focused on green places to enjoy, green construction and green businesses. We're sure many exciting changes will be charted by SEEDS!
