An exciting new approach is being piloted by the Georgia Basin Futures Project, with J. Murray Journeay of the Earth Science Sector, Natural Resources Canada in the lead.This project involves several organizations, including Sustainable Development Research Institute and EcoTrust, as well as graduate students. The project "combines expert knowledge and considered public opinion to explore pathways to sustainability through the use of emerging digital library/semantic learning networks (GBExplorer) and scenario modeling tools (GBQuest) along with on-line community mapping tools that incorporate the principles and underlying methodologies of the Green Map System". This project promises some unique results!
