Hachioji is a district of Tokyo, Japan. Shigeru Sugimoto, a professor of Housing & Design at Tokyo Kasei Gakuin University is working with students to chart the changing culture in both the city and the ward (district) of Suginami. Tokyo has 23 wards, so this project should reveal some interesting patterns and trends.
