In Kurashiki & Muragame City, Japan, Mayumi Takahashi and Isako Yamaguchi began a project similar to Okayama's. In Spring 2002, they published a map charting a wide range of sites of interest to youth, as well as the loss of habitat and species in town and along this area's seaside industrial zone. Like the Okayama Green Map this one has hundreds of sites. Over 1,000 people contributed to its making!
