The Global Green Map is a complex project, and we need to make sure it’s ideal for Mapmakers who want an easy online mapping tool, the public site submitters, and the users around the world.

About this Discussion

GGM is a complex project. We need to make sure:

• It’s easy for people to add sites and to post content.
• It’s easy to use by people everywhere.
• It’s easy to add new formats or elements in the future.

Instructions

You can join any of these Discussion Threads.

1.To join a group just click 'subscribe' in the box on the left side when you are looking at one of the discussions listed above.

2.When you are subscribed to a discussion you can post a new topic there (click the 'create Mapmaker Discussion' link in the box on the left of the page).

3. You can reply to someone else's discussion by clicking the 'add comment' link at the bottom of the page.

You will get an email notification when there’s a new comment in that section. Click options as you join each section.

Settings: When you are subscribed you can also choose to receive an email whenever a new topic or comment is added to that discussion. You can set whether or not you receive these notifications for ALL discussions in your account settings page (go to 'my account' and click the 'edit' tab at the top of the page, or just click here. For individual discussions you can click on the 'my subsciption' link in the box on the left side when you are viewing that discussion.

We chose the Blog format so you can add text, links or images. If you comment (bottom right link) you can only add text.

We will consider every suggestion, idea, tool, offer you make!
