San Jose's wonderful institution, The Tech Museum of Innovation, is creating a GoogleMap based Green Map of the city with the help of the thousands of visitors expected at their Green By Design exhibit, opening in fall 2006. IT Director Craig Rosa reports that the environmental issues explored in the map will parallel those in the new permanent exhibit: biological sustainability, technological sustainability, and energy. This museum received 400,00 visitors annually, so we expect that a wonderflly detailed Green Map will be made. Green Map System is one of the The Tech's laureates, honored in their 2001 awards!
