Along the Citarum River watershed in West Java Indonesia, including the City of Bandung, Green Mapmaker and planner W. Ari Nugraha and Lembaga Pelestarian Citarum (Citarum River Sustainability) are working with several local NGOs, including WPL (Residents Environmental Awareness along Citarum River), West Java Boys Scouts, Bandung Institute of Technology students, design and other volunteers. With 240 kms of river involved, this ambitious project will focus on river rehabilitation, water resource protection, forest rehabilitation and community development.
