East Harlem's Story 2000 is about a neighborhood Green Map created by youth, who explored the geographic parish of All Saints Church. The young people surveyed their neighborhood, posing questions and making judgments. They learned about important resources close to home and their responsibilities for making communities healthier, more sustainable places to live. Read how this project brought the history, culture and natural places in their neighborhood to life.
