Green Map Chinatown is a pubic-private collaborative effort to help Chinatown rebuild their culture, society, and economy because of the downturn they experienced following 9-11-2001. The Green Map will feature those businesses that help maintain the culture and flavor of Chinatown by providing authentic products and services and being environmentally, socially, and culturally responsible. This will include restaurants, cultural institutions, art, religious institutions, and more. The partners in this project are: Chinatown Partnership. Sino-Indochina Chamber of Commerce, the FUND for New York, Americorps, Pace University students and faculty. Our audience will be visitors and residents who want to learn more about the diversity, beauty, and complexity of Chinatown.
