About this Mapmaker

I am a Youth Outreach Worker with the London InterCommunity Health Centre in London Ontario Canada. It is a non-profit organization. I work with at-risk youth, youth who are new to Canada and youth who come from low-income families, experiencing barriers to their health and well-being. We meet youth where they are at in the community, one-on-one, at our youth-drop-in, in schools and connect them to services and opportunities that they would otherwise be unaware of.

Statement of Purpose

The Youth Outreach Worker team would like to promote the green and ecofriendly side of our community and improve our community appearance/image to the rest of the world. We would like youth, newcomer youth, and at-risk youth to take more interest in their community and engage their peers into sustaining and improving the environment where they go to school, play and work!
