Every Map is like a snapshot of a place, taken at a particular moment from a certain angle. One nice thing about web-based maps is that they can evolve over time and reflect changes very easily, all without any materials being wasted!

We would like to add your discoveries about Lower Manhattan's environment to LoMap: Did you find an exciting new places to add as sites on LoMap? Want to correct some information? Want to enhance an existing site's listing? Tell a story expressing your own feelings about NYC's environment? Suggest a book or another resource that will help others learn about NYC?
